Sheffield 1st Ward Primary

This blog is all about using British Sign Language in Primary. Singing time to be more exact. If you look at the pages on the right side menu you’ll find videos of the songs we are learning for 2012 presentation and more. None of the signs are an official Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints interpretation, because there is no official one. We are just doing the best we know how to include the wonderful deaf girl in our primary.

A little more help

on January 28, 2011

This week we have someone coming to visit the ward. His name is Wayne, and he served a mission with Matt Pegg. Wayne is deaf and he is coming to help talk to the Bishop about how we are going to learn sign.

Also for any other Primary leaders that may be looking for some help with the new song If I listen with my heart we have made simplified word sheets for the little ones and have put them up here for you to use. Its really helped in our ward, and has been a big hit with the older ones too. Hopefully you will be able to print them out ok for your ward to use too.

Follow the link to print them out ——> Printable word sheets, If I listen with my heart
